Zipcar is car-sharing, an alternative to car ownership that gives members 24/7 access to vehicles parked at Sonoma State University. Membership is required in order to use the Zipcars. After
signing up, members with have access to vehicles on campus at low hourly and daily rates which include gas, insurance, and up to 180 miles per day. Members can reserve cars online or with a smart phone for as little as an hour or up to seven days by going to the Zipcar website.
The designated pick up and drop areas for the Zipcars are located in the two spaces at the northwest corner of D lot adjacent to the University Police building. Just look for the Zipcars signs (pictured below).
