Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS) coordinates with many other departments at SSU to ensure that all members of our community are able to access campus safely and efficiently, whether they be driving, carpooling, walking, riding bicycles, using public transportation or using other creative means.
No matter what means you use to access campus, your safety is of the utmost importance. This web page includes information on currently laws and important safety tips to ensure a safe trip to and from campus.
Transportation Alternatives at SSU
As the physical demands on our environment continue to increase, we continue to strive to reduce the impact that vehicles have on our environment, while continuing to meet the demands of our community. We support and commend the efforts of those who choose transportation alternatives in our community and at SSU.
In addition to the environmental benefits that alternatives provide, alternatives such as bicycling and walking benefit us in many other ways. Both walking and bicycling are healthy alternatives that are recommended for better overall health and can save hundreds to thousands of dollars in vehicle costs and maintenance annually...not to mention the cost of parking!
Suggestions & Feedback
We value the suggestions and feedback of our community. Please feel free to contact TAPS with suggestions for new transportation programs, improvements or comments on our services.
